One of my favorite things about spring is when the swallows come to nest. They're not here too long, but they definitely make their presence known.

Today, we hung out with Lisa. Just catching up on our recent adventures and eating Salt and Pepper Fish. After seeing all of her delicious food pictures, we just had to make a run out to our favorite market. Lisa ended up taking groceries home as a souvenir of her visit. Way too much fun for a late night grocery run.

We went to the fair with the kiddos today. I had one heck of a time explaining to the kiddos that these are alpacas not llamas.

This is my snow fountain tree in bloom. I didn't realize how into plants I was until I flipped through my last couple of photos on this blog. Honestly, I think I'm just into nature.

Ranunculuses are my second favorite flower. They're in season right now.

My hubster is trying to be more open to my insistence of starting holiday traditions. I know he'll be thankful when our kiddos come and we all have a few traditions established. I must say he's a very good sport because he'll be eating all of the hard-boiled eggs that we colored. Thanks hubster!

We can't pass up a good deal. It's definitely the habits of the college kids who still live inside us. The veggie 4-packs were on sale for $0.58 at our local hardware store, so we decided to try a full veggie garden this season. We'll see what takes and what doesn't take. Our 5 foot parsley has us sailing on green thumb dreams.

We're so lucky to have so many farms around us. We try to buy straight from the farmers whenever we get the chance. White radishes are in season now. They remind of Easter eggs.

I have a mug with pi written out. I love it. Why do I even have it? Well, my hubster's a nerd and works for a nerdy company. It was one of our parting gifts when we went to D.C.

We're addicted to kale chips. We cut kale, spray it with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic salt, and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. So delish!

This is day 107, but it's my real 100th photo. I've missed a few days, but not too many. I figured it was best to keep chugging along. These succulents were a Christmas present from another teacher. I love them. They're so mini and adorable. I can't wait to do more gardening next weekend.

Our favorite market was having a ridiculous sale today. For example, we got strawberries in those plastic boxes for ninety eight cents. I'm so excited for berry season because that means summer is around the corner!

We went to the Earth Day festival yesterday. It was quite a big hoopla. I was genuinely impressed with it. All the booths were totally relevant to Earth Day. The map above is made of hand prints of the little ones who deserve to inherit a beautiful planet.

My kiddos' shoes. Nothing is as kid classic as Converse and Vans.

One of my kiddos finished this puzzle all by himself. He glowed when he talked about his accomplishment. He asked me if I had a camera. Luckily, I did. I must remember to print it and give it to him Thursday.

I'm the Star of the Week this week in the classroom. The kiddos are so excited. Their compliments and questions are adorable.

When we came home, I peeked outside. I thought after two weeks of being gone that our plants in our garden would be dead. Instead, I found a 4' parsley plant. My hubster was so surprised that he said, "Someone must have put Miracle Gro while we were gone!"

All over Old San Juan there are kitties roaming around, especially around the forts. We just had to take a few photos of them.

I love markets. As Anthony Bourdain says, it's the best way to get a feel for any place. Yes, I listen to Anthony Bourdain sometimes. Taken at Curacao.

Taken in Bridgetown, Barbados. A taxi driver slowed down, so I could get my shot from across the street. So thoughtful!

I took the kiddos' class monkey called Baby Monkey on vacation with us. Now, I get to share Baby Monkey's adventures with them. When my hubster saw it, he said, "Are you really bringing that with us?"

Taken during our morning roaming trip through Dominica. We quickly made it back to our cruise ship after some awkward stares and wrong turns down some shady streets.

One of my goals during this trip was to take more street shots. I was totally inspired by Vivian Maier. This was taken at St. Croix.

Hello, San Juan! This was the view from our cruise ship. I'll be catching up on my posts since I refused to pay $25 for unlimited internet access on the ship.
